Barbora Skarabela

Barbora Skarabela received her PhD from Boston University. She currently holds the post of lecturer in Language Acquisition at the University of Edinburgh.

The focus of her research has been on the interaction between social cognition and early syntax, particularly the relationship between joint attention and argument realization.

Other areas of interest include the typology and morpho-syntax of determiner phrases (in particular,possessive noun phrases in Indo-European languages), and, most recently, syntactic priming.
